You are invited to register for a Virtual Training Call for your 2014 Relay position, or any position you are interested in hearing more about. There will be three calls for each committee position, while the content will be the same for all three calls you are welcome to participate in more than one if you so desire. Comments and committee member participation will be different on each call. After you have registered for a virtual training call your call facilitator will email you with your call information and a link to the webinar for the call prior to the call.
The purpose of the Relay For Life Conferences and Workshops will be to bring committee members together in order to talk about the Relay year ahead. The content will focus on team building, goal setting and how to RELAY BIG. New strategies for retention, survivor & caregiver engagement and fundraising as well as opportunities for creative brainstorming to improve the Customer Experience will also be a part of the conferences and workshops.
Check out the 2014 Megas!
A HUGE congratulations to our 19 events that achieved MEGA status during the 2013 Relays season! Listed below are the events,as well as their 2013 fundraising totals. These events are leading the way in terms of strength and direction, and they will be invited to attend the 2014 Mega Event Experience in January!
Congratulations to the 2013 Pacesetters!
The Great West Division Pacesetter Program recognizes events that meet established criteria that help grow Relay For Life. Of more than 500 events in the Great West Division, only 37 Relays earned Pacesetter status in 2013. They're leading way, and they have exhibited exemplary progress and commitment. GREAT JOB!
2013 National & Great West Division Relay For Life Awards
Recognition isn't just a "good thing to do." It's a critical component in how we acknowledge, value, and thank volunteers for their time and commitment to making a difference, and to finishing the fight. While no award can adequately recognize all that Relay volunteers achieve in their efforts to eliminate cancer, the Society offers the Nationwide Awards and Recognition program as a tribute to some of its' most outstanding participants, teams, and events. These winners represent the very essence of what it means to be a Relay For Life volunteer and a community that takes up the fight! Click here to see the winners!
2014 GRAND ($1,000) CLUB
The Grand Club is an individual recognition program for those who raise at least $1,000 each Relay season.
