When Pam Knapper’s doctor told her in 2006 that her tests showed a diagnosis of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, it came as a complete shock to the 40-year-old Breckenridge, MN, wife and mother. After all, there was no history of this specific cancer in her family.

Just a year later, she took her first lap as a cancer survivor at the Richland Wilkin Relay For Life, which takes in the counties of Richland, ND, and Wilkin, MN. From that moment on she was determined to do whatever she could to support Relay For Life and the fight to find a cure for all cancers.
